HCC was a long time global supplier of high quality, and high power LED lead frame based products. SiBDI was acquired in April, 2010 by SemiLEDs, and specializes in leading-edge, silicon wafer level package technology. It was the first company to integrate MEMS with semiconductor processing technology for high power LED packages, and the novel package structure provides very high thermal conductance to maximize reliability and brightness. This unification brings together the expertise of two LED packaging companies and broadens our product offering by providing superior LED packages of two different technologies from one company.
